Who are we:
Jacqui de la Cour - Director
I have always loved figures and have developed a passion for assisting business owners to get it right. Prior to setting up Day 2 Day Accounting, I have always worked with businesses owners in the head office of businesses, including a travel agency with 8 branches, an accountants’ office, and electrician, I also owned a panelbeating business with two branches. I have 20 years of experience within the business administration area.
My main strengths are being able to pick up different industries very quickly, understanding and creating the reports that clients need and methodically working through clients’ accounts to get them tidy.
Outside of work, I have 3 lovely children, a partner and his 3 children. We live on a lifestyle block where we have sheep, ponies, pigs, calves, chickens, dogs and a cat and very little spare time.
Leeann Redman – Accounts Executive
My first job upon leaving school was with an Accounting Firm, Richmond & Bone, in Gore. Following a short and unremarkable stint at Dunedin Teachers College, I joined PostBank, which was shortly after purchased by ANZ Banking Group. I had a number of roles in the bank, but my most favourite was as Branch Manager at the Edgeware Branch here in Christchurch. During that time I married Derek, whom I’ve now been married to for 27 years, (2014) and we have two lovely boys, Mitchell who has just started at Christchurch Boys High and Scott who attends Templeton Primary School. On the day Scott started primary school, I returned to gainful employment with MYOB in their call centre and somehow survived the call centre environment for 4 years where I learnt a great deal of the theory that I apply to the Bookkeeping role I do now. In April 2012, Jacqui offered me a position at Day2Day Accounting and I’m honest in saying it is the job I have enjoyed the most in my working life. I along with all my colleagues here at Day2Day Accounting strive to deliver personal, professional and timely service to all our clients
Nic Leete – Accounts Executive
I am from Leicester in the Midlands of the UK and though I have come from a family business back ground doing the accounts work, I have also have many years’ sales experience working for the main High Street Retail Brands in the UK. I always found myself drawn towards the admin side of retail, from training and development to management roles. I moved to New Zealand in 2005 with my fiancé and our dog and continued a sales path starting in retail, then moving to telecommunication and eventually onto software support where I worked with Leeann. In 2012 the opportunity came when I could combine all my experience and drivers for a career and move into a role at Day 2 Day with Jacqui.
Over the past ‘few’ years I have been able to travel quite a bit and build some fantastic experiences and memories, and my weekend are now full pottering around our new house and dreaming of our next adventure.
Gaylene Davidson – Accounts Executive
I have been working at Day to Day Accounting for the last 7 months and really enjoy the many aspects and challenges to working in a Bookkeeping company. I have previously worked in the Wool testing industry, food distribution, building industry and heavy machinery parts industry. I have been working in accounts for almost all my working, without revealing my age, it has been quite a while! I’m married and have two lovely teenagers; a pigeon pair!
